The Bromley Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Quilt

In September 2022 Beckenham Quilters were approached by the London Borough of Bromley Museum Service. In their “London Bridge” plan (the plans many organisations had to detail what actions they would take following the death of Queen Elizabeth II) the Council had specified that they would commission a commemorative quilt to be made by community members and brought together by Beckenham Quilters. Download the document below for the story of the quilt.
