The Scrap Happy Group

Some of our members have formed the Scrap Happy Group. Their mission is to work together to create colourful, happy quilts using repurposed and donated materials and quilt blocks. The quilts are gifted to children with life limiting conditions.

Many of these are gifted via to the Demelza Hospices at Eltham and Sittingbourne.

Quilts made of fabrics more suitable for adults are gifted via our Befriending Programme.

Scrap Happy are self funded, occasionally holding raffles at BQ meetings to raise money to buy wadding etc.  They are always happy to receive donations of fabric, part finished quilt projects and unfinished obects (UFOs), and wadding.
