Special projects, workshops and events

Beckenham Quilters periodically undertake special sewing projects and all members are encouraged to participate.

These might be quick challenges like the 2022 Jubilee Jam Jar Challenge for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee when members were invited to each make an A4 sized panel; or longer projects like block of the month quilts designed by one of our members. Ocassionally we have created group quilts our latest in 2023 being a Queen Elizabeth II memorial quilt commissioned by the London Borough of Bromley.

We also organise workshops and events that members are invited to attend. Once finalised, information about these events will be given out at meetings and in regular email updates.
